We’re pleased to confirm that two of our team; Gemma Watson, our QMS Manager and Joe Rymer, our SHE Manager, were recently awarded the NEBOSH Environmental Management certification.

The NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management provides an understanding of how to manage environmental risk. It covers environmental legislation, environmental hazards and key features of an Environmental Management System (EMS).

The course takes a practical, risk management approach based on best practice and international industry standards.

To pass the course, Gemma and Joe were required to complete two units, each of which is assessed separately:

EC1 The management and control of environmental hazards
EC2 Environmental practical application

The course will provide both with the skills to effectively manage environmental risk, taking into account new environmental standards and legislation. Congratulations to both Gemma and Joe on achieving this certification!

To mark World Mental Health Day in October we held several talks on all of our sites about the importance about talking about any problems.
