Earlier this year we published our annual accounts for the financial year 2018/19 where we recorded a turnover of just under £37 million – an increase from £33.3 million in the previous year. Our Finance Director Mike Gibbin explains more.
The continued growth comes as we have expanded the areas in which we work – including successful projects in West Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire.
The Humber renewables sector has also become a large contributor to this growth, with over £20 million revenue in the region’s offshore wind sector under our belt over the last 5 years. Flagship projects in the past 24 months including The Orsted East Coast Hub and The Aura Innovation Centre have been key to this growth, without the emerging renewables sector on our doorstep, these projects would not exist.
The company has grown its revenue to £36.9 million during the year, working for both new and existing clients in both the public and private sectors, with individual projects ranging from £1,000 through to £9 million.
The company has also grown its client base and supply chain grow during the year.
We finished the year in March 2019 with over £28 million in our forward order book, standing us in good stead to continue our sales growth.
