Considerate Constructors update

In October we were honoured to be named one of the winners at the considerate awards in London, a testament to our steadfast commitment to continuous improvement and best practice.

2019 has been a strong year for us leading the way in best practice, not just enhancing the reputation of the company, but improving the image of the construction industry on the whole.

Our strong CCS performance is so important to us, as it drives the delivery of our projects and encourages continuous improvement.

This year we achieved a Considerate Constructors Scheme Bronze National Company award for the incredible standards upheld throughout the entire organisation.

On receiving the award we’ve been praised for showcasing an exceptional approach to considerate practice through ‘fantastic’ external appearances and brilliant work with the local community and ‘magnificent’ commitments in respect of the environment, safety and the workforce.

It’s just one example of how we work to the highest of standards for the benefit of our workers, clients and the wider environment.

We’ve received very positive Considerate Constructors Scheme Monitor’s Site Report among which includes:
• Marjorie Waite Court described as excellent across the board from care about appearance through to protecting the environment.
• Driffield Methodist Church excellent at securing everyone’s safety and valuing the workforce.
• Aura Innovation Centre described as at least ‘excellent’ with the respecting the community category described as ‘exceptional’.
• Ennerdale Leisure Centre was classed as very good across the board.
• Priority Space Retail Units described as excellent in the majority of areas, including respecting the community and securing everyone’s safety.

Well done to everyone who worked so hard on our sites to achieve excellent CCS results. Our colourful hoardings around the East Riding Leisure Hornsea site were also named winners in the Ivor Goodsite Hoarding Competition 2019.
