2019 Framework updates

During 2019 we have continued to build on our recent success with regional construction frameworks summarised below;

YorBuild 2

Yorbuild2 has continued to play a large part in our current projects during 2019 with a number of key schemes been delivered through the framework. Our current framework projects include: A new build church for Driffield Methodist Church, The Hornsea Boat Compound project for East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the refurbishment of Ennerdale Leisure Centre and assisted technology adaptations, both for Hull City Council.

Lidl Contractors Framework

It’s now almost a year since we successfully handed over our second new build Lidl supermarket in Barton upon Humber, having previously delivered our first on Hedon Road in Hull. During 2019 we have been active in tendering other Lidl projects in the region and are due to start on site with our third store in Selby early in 2020.

Pagabo Medium Works Framework

In early 2019 we were one of 46 firms, split across three project value bands, selected for Pagabo’s medium works framework ranging from £250,000 to £10m. The framework runs for three years with an expected spend of up to £1 billion during that time. We successfully secured lots in East Riding and North Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, North, South and West Yorkshire. The framework can be accessed by any public sector body including schools, NHS organisations, housing associations, leisure providers, libraries and museums. We have already successfully tendered and delivered works at South Hunsley School for the Education Alliance where we completed an intense programme of washroom refurbishments over the summer recess.

North Lincolnshire Council Construction and Highways framework

Also in 2019 we have earned a place in 4 lots across this framework. This framework includes local authority building projects including houses, schools, commercial buildings and leisure facilities to name a few. The framework can also be accessed by other government bodies in the region such as the NHS and blue-light services. Our lots include projects from £0-10million and we were also successful in securing the lot for disability adaptations to housing for disabled tenants, for which we have already delivered a number of projects in 2019.

Brierley Homes

Earlier this year we were awarded a place on a five-year framework for Brierley Homes. This framework includes the construction of new-build housing developments, predominantly located within Yorkshire. Brierley Homes is founded and owned by North Yorkshire County Council, with plans to deliver high quality, bespoke homes that will meet the buyers’ aspirations. We have been actively tendering schemes through the framework during 2019 and look forward to continuing to participate in the framework during 2020.

Efficiency North

The award of this framework means we will deliver work for affordable schemes for social housing landlords across Yorkshire and Humber. We were awarded a place on the lot for Schemes of between 30 and 85 units (£100m). This is the second time we have been awarded a place on this framework with Efficiency North.
